grandMA3 Intermediate

  • Monkey Wrench Productions 925 Boone Avenue North Minneapolis, MN, 55427 United States (map)

The grandMA3 Intermediate course is designed for the professional grandMA3 programmer who has a comprehensive understanding of lighting and programming, and extensive experience with grandMA3 software. This 2-day course will cover intermediate-level topics of the grandMA3 software, including in-depth discussions of patching, selection arrangement, presets, phasers, and cue and sequence functionality, along with macros, layouts, timecode, networking, and more.

It is strongly recommended to have at least 6 months of experience programming on grandMA3, and have completed either the "grandMA3 Beginner" or "grandMA3 for the grandMA2 User" course before taking this course.

All registrants are strongly encouraged to complete the free grandMA3 Intermediate Pretest first. If you do not score at least 85% on this test, we strongly recommend waiting a few months and gaining additional grandMA3 experience while reviewing online training content before attending a grandMA3 Intermediate class. The class assumes some level of knowledge and familiarity with grandMA3 concepts and hardware/software layout, and will not have time to review all of the basics.

Note: Students will most likely be sharing a console with 1 other person.
