Job Description:

As the Front Desk Monkey, you will be the first point of contact for walk-in customers, phone calls, and online chats. You will distribute incoming email tickets to the appropriate sales team member, or handle easy requests yourself as your knowledge and comfort level grow. You will also be the ecommerce point of contact, managing all ecommerce communication for both BigCommerce and eBay. Until we finish automating our system, you will be responsible for entering ecommerce payments and deliveries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet, assist, and ring up customers in the store

  • Answer phones to assist or transfer

  • Respond to online chat messages

  • Process straightforward sales requests

  • Manage ecommerce customer communications and offers

  • Distribute incoming sales asks to appropriate sales team members

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be comfortable using a stepladder

  • Must be able to lift 50lb

  • Must be comfortable on the phone

  • Must be proficient in basic computer skills

  • Must have industry experience working with the products we sell

  • Preferred experience working with ecommerce and/or prior retail experience

The store is open weekdays 9-6, this position will be working 8 hours per day (9-5 or 10-6), 40 hours per week, except for holiday closures.

Benefits:

  • This is a full-time salary position, $50k-$70k based on experience.
